Flexible capacitive technology
GGI Solutions implemented a new transparent capacitive technology. The transparent capacitive sensor is screen printed and have superior mechanical properties compared to standard ITO based sensors. The embedded printed backlighting system delivers crisp light and colors while only being one millimeter thick. GGI’s capacitive touch is flexible and can be easily laminated on a curved surface, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
This product can be used in the aerospace, defense, medical, industrial, and wearable technology field.
Based on the principle of thin light guides, this technology enables the creation of ultra-thin backlighting systems. The light is sent and reflected in an optical polymer on which diffusing dots are printed.
GGI’s team of seasoned experts implemented an algorithm to optimize the positioning and diameter of printed dots, thus minimizing the number of LED used and standardizing the light. This technology can also be used on curved surfaces.
This product can be used in the aerospace, defense and wearable technology field.
GGI has developed printed heater using positive temperature coefficient (PTC) ink. The heaters are lightweight, thin and produce heat rapidly in a uniform fashion while remaining inherently safe. They are designed to generate heat up to a specific self-regulating temperature. Applications include a variety of possibilities, where low temperature, uniform heating and a simple low cost solution is required.
Installation is easy and the heating elements can be applied to a wide range of surfaces.
