PRINTED DIFFUSER TECHNOLOGY

Based on the principle of thin light guides, this technology enables the creation of ultra-thin backlighting systems. The light is sent and reflected in an optical polymer on which diffusing dots are printed.

GGI’s team of engineers implemented a specific algorithm in order to optimize the positioning and the diameter of the printed dots. Thanks to this algorithm we are capable of using a low amount of LED, standardize the light and enhance our product performance. Furthermore, this technology is remarkably flexible and can be integrated into applications requiring a curved and thin interface design such as: keypad backlighting, annunciators, signage, seat indicators and more.

EL LAMPS

As part of our printed lighting solutions, we have developed EL lamps which are available in different shapes, sizes, and colors. EL lamps can be used as a backlighting option for applications such as lighting, advertisement, and display or can be integrated into a keypad assembly. This technology is a cost-effective solution and offers a very low power consumption compared to standard lighting options. It can be shaped to be extremely flat, or in narrow wire-like shapes and provides an outstanding light uniformity.
